Wireless RERC Projects

Wireless RERC – The Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Wireless Technologies will present several posters and demonstrations of some of its ongoing projects.

-          Wireless Emergency Communications – demo and poster of prototype cellphone-based emergency alerting system

-          Deaf 911 phone for communicating with emergency responders – demo and poster of prototype cellphone that allows deaf users to communicate with 911 centers

-          Consumer Research – poster on consumer research projects and results, including survey research, focus groups and user testing

-          Wireless Industry Dialogue – poster on importance and involvement of members of the wireless industry in RERC projects and ongoing knowledge sharing
